Preservation of Hardware, Archives, and Networked Technology - Operational Manufacturing
A prewar attempt to preserve advanced stealth and crowd controls measures.
Prototype SystemA pre-War military research project attempted to preserve critical manufacturing capability after a catastrophic event.
Rather than storing finished weapons and equipment, the project focused on preserving the ability to rebuild lost technology. I want to see this work as an "item set" type stacked bonus system. Armor + weapon = more perks. Using both while isSneaking = even more merks. And so on. THis was pretty straightforward to work out through scripting and custom hidden perks - though I'm sure there's a simpler way.
The Reconstruction Fabricator is a damaged prototype manufacturing system. It requires recovered components, recovered research data, and recovered schematics before it can produce anything meaningful.
The system was abandoned before completion.
The player finishes the work.
Possible locations:
STATUS: FAILED
AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY
The purpose of Project P.H.A.N.T.O.M. was to preserve critical defense manufacturing capability in the event of catastrophic infrastructure failure.
Current military doctrine assumes equipment loss can be compensated through replacement production.
Project P.H.A.N.T.O.M. preserves the ability to restore lost equipment from recovered patterns and raw materials.

Project Status: Suspended
The evacuation order has been issued.
The facility cannot be evacuated.
The Reconstruction Fabricator must not be destroyed.
If this technology survives, the Commonwealth may one day rebuild.
Not recover.
Not scavenge.
Rebuild.
The player must recover missing components required to restore the Reconstruction Fabricator.

SYSTEM RESTORED
Welcome.
Project P.H.A.N.T.O.M. database available.
Available functions:
Warning:
Manufacturing patterns are incomplete.
Additional recovery operations required.
The Reconstruction Fabricator does not use traditional recipes. It restores archived manufacturing patterns.
These patterns demonstrate the basic operation of the fabricator. They provide useful settlement production capability.
Description:
A reconstructed preserved food package based on pre-War military survival food patterns.
Description:
A reconstructed preserved breakfast ration based on recovered pre-War commercial food packaging technology.
Description:
A reconstructed preserved meal package utilizing recovered pre-War food stabilization and sealing techniques.
Description:
A reconstructed field medical injector produced using recovered pharmaceutical manufacturing procedures.
Description:
An advanced restorative compound synthesized from recovered pharmaceutical and water purification technologies.
Description:
Potable water produced through restored industrial purification and contamination removal processes.
Military patterns are not standard recipes. They are recovered manufacturing archives.
These patterns represent incomplete experimental technology. The fabricator requires recovered components before manufacturing authorization is granted.
